Method 1: Use the built-in Print to PDF feature to remove the PDF password
If you are using Windows 8 or Windows 7, please refer to the instructions in Method 2 of this article.
Step 1:Open the PDF file (with the password you want to remove) with any web browser or any other application that supports opening the PDF. We are opening a PDF file with Firefox, but you can open it with anyPDF reader.
Step 2:When you are asked to enter the PDF file password, enter the same to open the PDF file. In case you forgot your password, try the third-party programs mentioned in Method 4 of this article.
Step 3: When the PDF file is opened, press Ctrl + Pto view the Print dialog box.
Step 4: Select Microsoft Print to PDF from the list of printers, click the Print / OK button , choose a location to save the PDF file and then click the Save buttonto save the PDF file without a password.
Now you can open the newly created PDF file without entering the password. You can delete the old password-protected PDF file now.

Step 1:Open the PDF file in Google Chrome browser. Enter your password when asked to do so.
Step 2: After opening the PDF file, right-click anywhere on it, click Save as option, choose a location to save the PDF file and then click the Save buttonto save the PDF file without a password.

Step 1:Open the PDF file with Microsoft Edge and enter your password when prompted.
Step 2: Right-click anywhere on the PDF content, click Save as , choose a location to save the new PDF file (without the password) and then click the Save button.
