Windows 7 has a slew of lovely and beautiful games, including classic games with new slick graphics and some great new games from Vista like Chess Titans, Mahjong Titans, and Purble Place. For some reason, Microsoft has decided to stop these games and offer bulky modern games from the Store instead. For fans of the original Windows 7 games, here’s a simple guide to recovering them on Windows 10.

Update: This package is currently working in all Windows 10 editions, including Windows 10 Anniversary Update (recent build):

Download and install the game from Windows 7 to play in Windows 10, Windows 8, and Windows 8.1

To get all games from Windows 7 playing in Windows 10, you need to do the following:

1. Retrieve the ZIP archive with Games from the Windows 7 Games link

2. Unzip and execute the file Win7 GamesForWin10-Setup.exe.

3. Follow the installation instructions and select the desired games you want to have in Windows 10.

You are done! Go to the Start menu and play your favorite game now. That’s it. Now you have games from Windows 7 in Windows 10.
