The Notification & Action Center in Windows 10 Anniversary Update looks excellent. The Action Centers are divided into two main sections – Notifications and Quick Actions and allow you to see all notifications from all the different apps and even systems.
Use the Action Center in Windows 10
If you’re using the latest version of Windows 10, you’ll find it in the right corner of the taskbar. Click the icon to open the Action Center panel.
Here at the end, you’ll see the notification, but you can see the shortcuts that Action Center has at the bottom of the page. Most of these keys serve as shortcuts for frequently used settings. By selecting any file, you open the relevant Settings section.
Although the Action Center is seen as a simple tool, it is beneficial. It stores and retains important messages for viewing at a later time. Since Notifications is an important feature that defines Action Center, it’s always enabled. However, things can get annoying as you get along.
However, things can get irritating when you get a notification. If required, you can set the priority of Notifications or disable notifications. To do so, click the Action Center icon located on the right-hand side of the Windows taskbar.
Next, click the All Settings button, select System and then, Notifications & Actions.
Switch settings to ‘On’ or ‘Off’ for different application settings.
Quick Actions
In addition to notifications, Windows 10 puts ‘Quick Actions’ in the Action Center. It allows you to switch ‘Tablet Mode’ quickly and access other settings like ‘Display’. To select Quick Actions that appear at the bottom of your computer screen, tap the Action Center icon and select ‘All Settings’.
Then, select System> Notifications & actions and finally click the ‘Add or Remove Quick Actions’ link.
Here, you can choose which quick action will appear in the Action Center, and when done, close the window to apply the changes.
Removes Notifications
Clutter in the Action Center due to the display of multiple notifications can be minimized by eliminating them. To dismiss individual notifications, tap the Action Center icon on your taskbar and hover over the notification you want to ignore. Then, click the “X” button to remove Notifications.
