If you want to search for or search for a specific word or phrase on a web page while browsing using Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Opera, or any other browser on your Windows PC, follow these steps:
There’s a simple keystroke that you can press to bring up a search box – just like your personal Google web browser. It doesn’t have all the nifty features and built-in Google capabilities, but it allows us to quickly find a specific word or phrase in any position on the page.
Here’s how to search the site for a particular word or phrase:
1 – Press the Ctrl + F key combination. You should see a small search box pop up near the top of the screen.
2 – Enter the word or phrase you want to find in the search box. As you are typing, the word or phrase’s first occurrence is automatically highlighted on the screen.
Clicking Previous or Next words (either the up arrow or the down arrow depending on the browser) will highlight the word or phrase’s previous or next occurrence or phrase on the page.
Why not press Ctrl + F now and try?
