If you find your Windows 10/8/7 computer is experiencing some hardware or device problems, you can run the “Troubleshooter” Hardware and Devices troubleshooter. This automatic troubleshooter will try to identify and then resolve the issues it finds.
How to run the Hardware Troubleshooter and Device Troubleshooter
Windows 7/8/10 comes with this troubleshooter built-in. If you recently installed a new driver or some hardware and found something that is not working as you want, use this troubleshooter.
To do that, open Control Panel> Hardware and Sound> Configure a device.
The hardware troubleshooter will open. You can set it up to fix problems that have been detected automatically or choose and choose to fix just what you want.
Click Next to run the “Troubleshooter” Hardware and Device Troubleshooter. Once the scan is complete, it will present you with a report.
Select the ones you want to fix and click Next.
The “Troubleshooter” Hardware and Device troubleshooter will try to fix the problem for you.
