You used to use the arrow keys on your keyboard to move from cell to cell but suddenly stopped working. Now the arrow keys make the whole page move up or down or side to side.
Since you have scroll lock enabled on your keyboard, pressing one of the arrow keys causes Microsoft Excel to move the entire workbook in that direction instead of moving to the next cell. This feature is useful for users viewing a large sheet and annoying those who have it turned on by mistake. The following sections provide quick, simple instructions for disabling scroll lock.
Turn off the scroll lock with the keyboard key.
To turn the scroll lock on and off, press the Scroll Lock key. On most keyboards, it’s located in the Control Keys section of your keyboard, above the arrow keys, or to the right of the function keys.
