You are using the computer, but the taskbar has somehow been moved to the left side of the screen or in a different direction.
You tried to move the Taskbar back to the bottom of the screen but couldn’t. It’s like it’s stuck on the left side of the screen. How do I get it back at the bottom where it belongs?
It looks like the Taskbar was moved and then locked in that position. If so, it should be pretty easy to move it back to its normal position at the bottom of the screen. Just follow these steps:
1 – Right-click an empty area on the Taskbar, then click Lock the taskbar. That will remove the checkmark and allow you to reposition the Taskbar as you wish.
2 – Left-click on an empty area of the Taskbar and drag it back to the bottom of the screen while keeping the mouse button pressed.
3 – Release the mouse button when you have the Taskbar back at the bottom of the screen.
4 – Right-click on the Taskbar again and then click Lock the taskbar. That will restore checkmarks and (hopefully) prevent the Taskbar from being accidentally moved back in the future.
That’s all there is to it. The taskbar will now return to the bottom of the screen.
I hope this helps, Ervin. Good luck!
